Made from aerospace-grade aluminum, which sounds pretty awesome already, MISFIT Shine is one of the latest fitness trackers to hit the market. Co-founded by the former Apple CEO, John Sculley, the MISFIT Shine embodies a simple and clean design similar to most Apple products. This sweet fitness tracker is a tiny disc that records your physical activities and BMR, or basal metabolic rate, as well as monitors your sleep. What makes the MISFIT different, is its ability to be worn anywhere on your body, even when you go into water; In addition to having the freedom to wear it anywhere on your body, the MISFIT was also designed to be elegant and resemble a piece of jewelry instead of a workout band. A tiny groove wraps around the MISFIT Shine allowing you to change how you wear it too. You can wear it as a watch, necklace, bracelet or even tuck it neatly away in your shoe or bathing suit if that’s your thing. Plus, the MISFIT Shine comes in six colors and none of them are those bright, obnoxious neon shades.
Similar to other workout bracelets, the MISFIT Shine currently tracks walking, running, swimming and cycling. The creators are also developing additional algorithms to include other types of exercises and should be coming out with those updates pretty soon. Once a workout has been recorded, the activity is assigned a point value. The more strenuous a workout, the more points you earn. All the points are conveniently recorded in the matching app which is extremely user-friendly and matches the MISFIT Shine’s design by offering a clean and simple look and feel.
If you’re looking for a cooler way to track your workouts and record all of your physical activity as well as your sleep for the day, then MISFIT Shine is perfect for you.
