Counting Your Macronutrients-The Latest Trend-aka IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros)

The number one reason most “diet” plans fail, is due to a lack of people being able to continue the plan forever.

There is eventually an end point and a point where it becomes intolerable.

I used quotations around the term “diet” because IIFYM is not a diet, it is a lifestyle, and very maintainable.

Counting macros has honestly saved me from a past of binge eating...

counting macros has become a savior for me. With this "diet" there are no restrictions, there is no need to feel deprived and you can see great results in your body just by counting your macros!

Down to the basics, your three macronutrients are:

carbohydrates (grains, breads, pasta, etc.),
proteins (fish, chicken, protein powder, other meats, etc.), and
fats (nuts, peanut butter, olive oil, avocado, etc.)

While changing into this kind of lifestyle it can be confusing at first but there are many, many communities and people out there to help you.

You can check out the Facebook group “Female Flexible Dieters” which I am also a part of.

There are also many people via Instagram that are willing to help, my personal favorite being @passion2befit. This is something that I highly recommend you look into if you’re feeling ready for a new life changing food adventure!

I promise you will not regret it, from a fellow flexible dieter myself.
