They seem so shapely, strong and fit, they have willpower of the gods, and they run so fast and they’re flexible...

they must have stumbled upon some sort of hack.

They must have broke the code that just makes it easy to get awesome results people drool over and are jealous of.

Ready?!? Here it is:

There is NO HACK.

Sorry to disappoint, but hopefully this will save you a lifetime of wasted time and effort. I’ve wasted a lot of my time and effort looking for the 1 thing that would help me achieve my fitness goals.

There is no 1 thing.

It’s complicated, it takes hard work, and dedication, and commitment over time.

You want to transform your body, your health?

Here are 5 HACKS or truths that I’ve learned so far:

1. Modeling Works!

Model someone who has the results you want.

Figure out what they do and do it, over and over and over, make it a habit.

2. Be Consistent!

Don’t bounce from one program to the next, from one diet to the next.

Spend time, 8, 12, even 26 or 52 weeks with different routines and progressions to see if it works for your body and your goals.

3. Listen To Your Body!

The caveat, of course: don’t give in when the going gets tough.

Working hard on your fitness means you will be tired and sore, but it doesn’t mean you sleep poorly, have digestive issues, or decreased performance.

Try things out fully, and see how it works. If it doesn’t, toss it out and try the next thing.

4. Keep a Journal!

• your workouts
• your progress,
• your setbacks,
• and your nutrition.

It’s easy to forget, or be unaware just exactly how far we’ve come, or how far we have to go, if you keep it all jumbled up in your head.

5. You’re A Reflection Of The Company You Keep!

You’re an average of the five people you hang around the most.

If you hang around a bunch of negative people who eat fast food for lunch and go out for happy hour every evening... guess what, you’re not going to reach your nutrition, fitness, and LOOKIN’ GOOD goals.

But if you hang out with people working their collective asses off to get healthy, toned, fit, smokin’ hot...

You see where this is going.

Even if you’re not ready to quit all your friends and move, start “hanging out” with health and fitness leaders you respect through books, audio, online forums, whatever you can get your hands on.

Their positive influence will start to work its magic slowly but surely.
