What’s the best way to:
• experience new environments,
• re-kindle a relationship or
• check off an item on your bucket list??
How about sleeping under the stars, hiking in on unfamiliar trail, and/or coming in direct contact with forest animals that are family-friendly???
This park has over 2,000 natural sandstone arches and a ton of wildlife...
including falcons and gorgeous multi-colored lizards.
U2 had it right many years ago!!
Check out the amazing starry skies (the "banner" pic at the top of this article is from there)!
If that’s not enough to convince you, it’s a very romantic and uplifting place to visit... even in the winter.
Yes, it’s a ship/plane/legit shlep to get there...
But sooooo worth it!
Camping is allowed all year long, and, if bringing your own isn’t your thing, you can even rent tents and cabins.
Bonus: They have domesticated deer that come and literally hang out with you. They are all human-friendly!
Hiking is the reason to head over to this camping area, just south of the (Central American) border.
The trails pass through crystal lakes, tinny villages and gorgeous epic mountain views.
Okay, so this one is more up my alley...
Maybe you’re not up to sleeping in an actual tent, such as myself.
How about "Glamping"??
• the amenities of staying in a 4-star hotel but
• without the bugs, sleeping bags, and eating from cans.
The romantic camping experience is just like sleeping under the stars, except you get bed turn down service, and don't have to worry about bug repellent...
I vote YES for this camping site!!!
Don't forget your cameras, video cams, and maybe even keep a V-Log the next time you visit one of the best places to camp before you die!!!
I would love to see what you bring back, and I live vicariously through all of my readers!!!
Happy Roughing It.
