Looking for a way to GO HEALTHY without

• Breaking the bank
• Taking forever to make dinner
• Cooking the same meal over and over again
• Portions that are meant for families, not just you?

Well, I found the holy grail, and it’s called

Dream Dinners!

My wife and I just had our first child about two weeks ago and our freezer is now stocked with meals ready for us to cook in 30 minutes or less...

Meals we prepped ourselves!

Dream Dinners is a place where you prep pre-selected meals that you then take home and cook when you want.

My wife and I tried it out and we had a great experience. And, best of all, it tasted super good, was very healthy, and wasn’t too expensive.

Here’s what I liked about it:

1. Simple and Relationship-Healthy

Honestly I was amazed by how easy it was. While it was mostly women there we did see a few couples which was cool. Time in the kitchen together is good for any relationship!

Everything, from measurements to product, was color-coded for ease and simplicity. The staff was there at the ready to assist in any way needed.

2. Portion Control was Taken Care Of!

The fact that each piece of fish, each filet of meat, was already cut to a healthy portion size made it really helpful... and reminded us that our portion sizes at home, and especially in restaurants, are ridiculously outrageous!

We need to retrain our stomachs as to what a healthy portion size is!

3. Time Sensitive

The meals we prepared (my wife and I prepared 6 three-serving meals) won't take much time to cook at home... the hardest part will be to remember to take them out of the freezer in the morning!

Even the price was relatively reasonable... especially when compared to eating out!

According to Tiffany Herman, Marketing Director for the company, "Dream Dinners evolved from the homegrown practice of co-founder Stephanie Allen, a working mother who began making fix-and-freeze meals for her family in 1986. By preparing and freezing entrees using fresh raw ingredients, she improved on traditional pre-cooked methods, resulting in better tasting meals. She refined the process for efficiency and began developing a collection of specialized recipes."

There are now 87 locations in 25 states!

You can see all of them here.

We did “The Intro Offer”: six 3-serving menu items for $74.95

The individual menu prices and sides and sweets available in the Finishing Touch freezer were a very appealing part of the experience and part of the reason we’re already signed up to go back!

It might be cheaper to purchase all the ingredients on your own. Dream Dinners is definitely cheaper than eating out. And the guess-work is gone.
