What Works Best When Building a Booty?

Let’s get straight to the point.

Bigger booties are in right now, and you may be wondering what it takes to carve out that perfectly rounded derrière.

I can tell you right away, that's it's not going to be easy and it doesn't require perfect genes. What it will require is a ton of hard work, some sweat, and maybe even some tears.

Being a personal trainer, I’ve seen countless success stories of women being able to build a booty, myself included.

With that said, here are the best exercises to build some booty.

My number one recommendation: Glute Bridges

These can be done in a variety of ways.

I prefer using a barbell that rests on the pelvis as you “thrust” up with it. (For beginners, I recommend using only your body weight first)

For those a bit more advanced, try single legs and embrace the burn.

My number two: Walking Lunges

Again, this can be done with a barbell on the back, or just body weight.

My number three is: The Good Ol' Fashioned Back Squat

However, I emphasize proper form much more than going super heavy.

Yes, heavy is important, but we don’t want you getting injured. I recommend past parallel to really engage the glutes muscles even more.
