5 Simple Ways To Feel Sexy Everyday

As women, we want to do it all.  We want to work so we feel independent; we want to be the perfect wife to our husband so we clean the house and do the laundry; we want to be supermom, so we make breakfast, pack lunches, and plan healthy family dinners; we take our kids to school, pick them up, take them to afterschool activities, help them with homework, throw them in the bath and tuck them into bed.  Now, in maintaining our perfect wife status, at the end of each day, we want to be perfectly groomed and in lingerie, awaiting our husband in bed, full of energy and ready for some lovin’.


As a real woman, in the real world, there are more days where I simply want to lay down and sleep, undisturbed, and un-wanted.  I love the idea of being able to do it all, however, I simply cannot keep up with the demands that I place on myself.  I am simply not in the mood.  My thoughts during the day are not “sexy thoughts,” they are “focused on the task at hand thoughts.”

I'm sure you're probably feeling the same way I did, but I learned some really simple ways to change my daily thoughts and actions so that I could feel sexy all the time.  Feeling sexy every day has taken away the daily stress of life and replaced it with a daily zest for life. 

Here are some ways in which I turned my everyday routine into a passionate love affair, worthy of a romance novel.

1. Daily grooming. 

Yes, this means what you think it means.  Spend some time in the shower, removing unwanted hair using whichever method of hair removal works best for your skin type.  It will seem daunting at first, however, it will become a habit that you no longer need to think about, it just happens. That way when the mood strikes, there is no running to the shower for a quick touchup and you are ready to go!

2. Pick up a romance novel.

There is a reason that housewives read these.  It gets them “in the mood.”   When we read, especially women, we imagine what we are reading, in perfect detail, much like watching a movie.  It's this visual that will get you in the mood.

3. Keep an open mind, and try new things.

The thrill of adventure tends to get the blood flowing.  Try a trapeze lesson, or a pole dancing lesson, or the art of erotic dance class.  Sometimes breaking out of routine is enough to get the “blood flowing” again.

4. Pay attention to physical sensation.

Stop several times a day, no matter what you are doing, and assess how you feel physically.  How does it feel to touch your arm, to run your hand up and down your other arm, and focus on that sensation only.  How does the water feel while you are doing dishes?  These simple moments that you stop and only focus on the sensation of touch will help to reacquaint your physical body with your mind.  When the body and mind are engaged and focused on the simple act of touch, you will feel more sensual, more sexual.

5. Simply thinking about sex more will get you in the mood more.


Remind yourself of the last time you were intimate with your partner. Focus on that, and that only. Remember it in every detail possible.  You'll want to revisit that encounter again and again.  For women, the more turned on the mind is, the more turned on the body is.

These simple ideas will transform your ordinary day into an exceptionally sexy day, and at the end of it, you will be waiting and ready to meet your partner’s advances with renewed vigor.  Get your sexy back!
