Getting GYFT'D at #ASF15 (Part One)

Despite nationwide delays, the GYFT team weathered through, well, the weather, to arrive in Columbus, Ohio for none other than the Arnold Sports Festival 2015. Over 175,000 people flocked to the convention center to witness some of the most impressive feats of human strength and physical capabilities.

Aside from the incredibly large human beings, plethora of perfectly sculpted buns in colorful yoga pants, and the hair-singing smell of protein farts, here are some of the highlights of our trip. Be sure to stay tuned as GYFT will be posting live interviews with some surprise athletes and celebrities.

The descent into Columbus set the mood for the trip with a view like this.

There was definitely no shortage of people crammed into the Columbus Convention Center. Waiting times to take photos with athletes and to get some of the industry’s best product samples had patrons standing in line for up to three hours.

Speaking of athletes, here’s the man, the myth, the legend… the Governator. He proceeded to take pictures at almost every booth and despite his immense success across multiple industries, he remains one of the most down to earth guys you’ll ever meet.

Chris posing with four-time Mr. Olympia winner, Jay Cutler. Dude is absolutely massive. If you want to know what he’s taking, be sure to check out his new supplement line.

Iris Kyle, the world’s winningest bodybuilder to Blake: “My my boy you are handsome!” Blake said he’s never been so turned on and afraid in his life. He said it had something to do with the fact that she could easily have her way with him and there’s absolutely nothing he could do about it.

Blake and Max with UFC Ultimate Fighter 4 Athlete and UFC veteran, Shonie “International” Carter. Aside from being an incredibly genuine guy, his fashion sense is sensational with his kilt-top hat combo.

YouTube phenomenon also known as the “brofessor,” Dom Mazetti taking pictures at the Campus Protein booth.

Max posing with the master of clean eats, Kevin from Fit Men Cook.

2015 Arnold Classic champ, Dexter Jackson soaking in the glory after his big win.

The ladies brought their A-game for prejudging. Hot damn.

There was no shortage of the most beautifully sculpted figures on earth. This shot has the ladies working it for the judges in the Bikini International.

Crossfit games in full-force as we this woman reps out her deadlifts.
A 700lb bench press? If anybody can do it, there’s no doubt it’s going to be this guy.

Visitors could witness a smackdown standing ringside at the WWE experience. Superstars Hulk Hogan and Triple H made a surprise appearance.

Arm wrestling got the crowd going, as we see two heavyweight giants battle for the win.
Kids got a chance to share some of the glory competing in all types of gymnastics events. This adorable little girl perfects her floor routine for the judges.
