11 Tips That Could Boost Your Happiness

Being happy seems like such a simple idea, yet, unfortunately, feeling happy may seem like the hardest thing in the world some days. When I think about happy people vs. unhappy people I have two comical images that pop up:
  • #1. A happy person is someone with a bounce in their step, their own personal ray of sun that follows them, all smiles, and without a care in the world.
  • #2. An unhappy person is the person that is walking in the rain, grumpy, and down, and as silly as this sounds, they have symptoms of a cold.

Not everyone falls into these two images, this is just how I tend to think about it.

Something to consider is the fact that antidepressant use is on the rise, which is hard to understand since there are so many negative side effects.

Is the general population so starved of feeling happy that popping a pill once a day with so many side effects is an acceptable practice? What if you could feel instantly happier? Feeling happy will not fix all your problems, however, it will make the ride more enjoyable.
