Pediatricians Say No Alcohol During Pregnancy, Ever



Pediatricians are pleading with expectant mothers to relinquish their need for a daily adult beverage.

10% of pregnant women still refuse to give up their daily allotted alcoholic drink, despite pleas from physicians. Additionally, 1 in 33 women still admit to binge drinking while pregnant. It’s been a topic of debate with varying scientific findings around the world though a recent CNN article sheds new light on whether or not expecting mothers should be partaking in not only one glass of wine a night but one glass of wine throughout pregnancies in their entirety. If you can’t handle the very real consequences, perhaps it’s time to reevaluate motherhood entirely or avoid alcohol during pregnancy.
