Controlled Labs was founded in early 2005 with the goal of producing top-quality products at a reasonable price. Standing out from the thousands of other products that inundate the supplement marketplace is challenging, but the creative team over at Controlled Labs managed to do just that in a very simple manner: by using colors. With such notable products as Purple Wrath (amino acids), Red Acid (fat burner), White Pump (pre-workout) and Orange Triad (multivitamin), Controlled Labs has done a great job with the visual aspect of what makes a well-marketed product line. Their products can be found in thousands of retailers across the country, as their popularity has continued to grow over the years.
Orange Triad, Controlled Labs’s entry in the multivitamin category has an MSRP of $59.99 for a 45-serving container of 270 tablets, which equates to $1.33 per serving. Orange Triad spared no expense using only the most optimal, well-researched forms of the various vitamins and minerals in its formulation. Additional digestive enzymes, joint support ingredients and even an immune complex help to make this one of the highest rated multivitamins we have ever reviewed. The tablets are enterically coated so they go down smoothly, but we agree with the directions to split the 6-pill serving over two doses per day with a meal, so as to minimize any potential for indigestion. One big standout for us was the fact that each serving contains 2,000iu of vitamin D3, which we think is super important due to the vast majority of Americans being deficient in this vitamin. A great product for a reasonable price is what Controlled Labs sought to accomplish and we think they were pretty successful in that venture.
