Thought of as the invincible trainer of trainers from "The Biggest Loser" and Daily Burn's Black Fire Progam, Bob Harper is the symbol of health in America. From his clean eating tips on the TODAY show, to his intense workout classes, he's been inspiring us all for over a decade.

It was a shock to hear that Harper, 51, suffered a heart attack just two weeks ago, and is currently in recovery.

Harper, confirmed the incident to NBC News. TMZ reported that he collapsed and lost consciousness while working out. The invincible trainer is visibly shaken, but told NBC that he is now "on the mend."

Monday night Harper took to facebook and shared a photo from the hospital thanking his fans for their support.

"Well I guess you all heard what happened," he posted. "Two weeks ago yesterday I had a heart attack. I am feeling better. Just taking it easy."

Harper has a family history of heart disease. His mother passed away several years ago from a heart attack.

According to the American Heart Association, children of parents with heart disease are at higher risk. Men are also at higher risk then women.

We are positive he'll be back badder then ever... inspiring us to be our best.
