Chocolate for breakfast - The new health trend

Research studies have shown that eating chocolate for breakfast is very healthy. That's right... I said it, "Very Healthy."

As many of us already know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. According to various studies there is no better time to eat chocolate, then during breakfast, when your body's metabolism is working its hardest. 

Researchers from Tel Aviv University found that combining chocolate with protein and carbohydrates  for breakfast guards against sugar cravings throughout the day. This means as you have already had your sugar fix, you are less likely to crave it and snack on junk in the afternoon. - Aunty Acid

The study showed that the group who added chocolate to their breakfast, lost on average 37 more pounds than their counterparts.

Looks like I don't have to worry about my kids eating chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast every morning. Just need to make sure I drop some sausage links on their plates for the added protein.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. If your going the chocolate route, you might as well make it dark. Dark chocolate is known to improve your cognitive function and enhance reasoning, memory and focus.

Now that's a double whammy!!!
