Running no matter your pace, can drop your risk of premature death by almost 40%. This figure holds true even accounting for smokers, drinkers, and a history of health problems.

The study showed that you could increase your life by seven hours, by simply running for 1 hour.

But don't get to excited... We are not immortal. The max gain is considered to be capped at around three years. So if your not an athlete, marathon runner, or triathlete, don't worry. You can add 3 years to your life by only running 2 hours a week.
